You Can

A deeply evocative and heartwarming image that embodies the profound journey of dealing with loss and the beauty of memories shared with loved ones. The quote poignantly illustrates the internal struggle between despair and gratitude, highlighting the choices we face when grieving. It encourages individuals to transform their sorrow into a celebration of life, suggesting that, while it’s natural to mourn the absence of those we love, true fulfillment comes from honoring their legacy through love, laughter, and openness to future experiences. The message inspires resilience, emphasizing the strength found in cherishing the memories that enrich our hearts and guide us forward, fostering a sense of hope for tomorrow while keeping the spirit of the departed alive within us.

You can shed tears that they are gone, or you can smile because they lived. You can close your eyes and pray that they will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that they left for you.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see them, or you can be full of the love that you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember only that they are gone, or you can cherish their memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind and feel empty, or you can do what they would want: Smile, Open your Heart, Love and go on.

Since you asked

Soulful love song lyrics, intertwined hearts, floral transformation, vulnerable expression, shared intimacy, unique bond, authentic connection

As my life spills into yours,
Changing with the hours
Filling up the world with time,
Turning time to flowers,
I can show you all the songs
That I never sang to one man before.

A World In Us

Illustration symbolizing friendship as a catalyst for new worlds within us, with each friend bringing forth a unique, previously unknown world through their presence and connection.

Each friend represents a world in us,
a world possibly not born until they arrive,
and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

I am no more

A profoundly introspective and evocative image that encapsulates the essence of the statement 'I am no more and I am everything,' a phrase rich with existential and spiritual significance. This statement invites contemplation on the nature of identity, suggesting that true liberation comes from the dissolution of the ego and the embrace of a universal consciousness. In this state, one transcends individual limitations and connects with the shared essence of all existence. The imagery symbolizes a transformative journey where the relinquishment of personal identity allows for a deeper connection with the cosmos and all living beings. It embodies the paradox of existence, illustrating how in becoming 'no more' as a singular self, one paradoxically becomes 'everything,' highlighting the interconnectedness of life. This exploration encourages reflection on our role within the greater tapestry of being, emphasizing that the true essence of life lies not in our individuality but in the collective experience of love, empathy, and shared humanity.

I am no more and I am everything.

Nell

My Darling Nell,

Daddy is far away and can’t send you a Christmas Card.  But please keep this in mind, I am always thinking of you and mother.  The war will end soon and I’ll be back to take care of you and mother, until then be good, and may God bless you all for a happy Christmas.  Please do your best, next year we will all be together again.

Love Nolan

Borrow Them

Borrow Them

“I have a hard time taking compliments.”

“Then don’t take them.  Borrow them. Tuck them away for the next person who needs one.”
